Assembly Supervisor

Requirements:

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Naval Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Basic knowledge of Occupational Risk Prevention.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in energy, oil & gas construction projects.
  • Proven track record in monitoring construction projects, ensuring HSE compliance, and supervising personnel.
  • Experience in blueprint reading and interpretation, technical regulations, assembly planning and sequencing, technical document management, and technical troubleshooting, among others.​
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • English +B1.

Principal duties

  • Direct and control all assembly activities assigned to their discipline (mechanical, electrical, piping, structural, etc.).
  • Verify that all work is executed in accordance with drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, technical specifications, and approved procedures.​
  • Participate in the development of the assembly plan and the definition of construction sequences.
  • Conduct continuous field inspections to ensure the correct construction sequence and detect early deviations.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly physical progress, comparing it against the project schedule.
  • Report deviations, propose corrective actions, and coordinate schedule adjustments.
  • Coordinate direct personnel, assigning tasks and verifying performance."
  • Identify, in coordination with the discipline lead, deviations in the subcontractor's scope of work compliance, ensuring early detection and proper management.
  • Ensure, in coordination with the discipline lead, that its subcontractors have sufficient resources—particularly their own foremen and supervisors—to guarantee the proper execution of the contractually assigned work, proposing to the discipline lead the measures to be applied in case of deviations that jeopardize the successful completion of the works.
  • Be present in the work area to guide, correct, and support.
  • Resolve technical questions in real time to prevent delays or errors.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and propose internal or external training.
  • Ensure the team has all necessary tools, materials, and permits before starting activities.
  • Supervisar el desempeño del equipo, proporcionando orientación técnica y resolviendo dudas operativas.
  • Ensure that the Trainee Foreman programs assigned to their area are properly developed, guaranteeing their correct operational integration and compliance with corporate procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, safety, and other disciplines to resolve interferences or technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • Comply with the Corporate Compliance and Anti-Bribery Policy, as well as the obligations set forth in the Corporate Compliance Program (CCP) (Policy, Code of Ethics and Conduct, Crime Prevention Plan, and Procedures), and ensure compliance within their area of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with the organization in improving compliance management through the practice of workplace best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Professional, honest, and loyal conduct toward the organization, its business partners, and collaborating companies.
  • Report any observed non-compliance accurately and without delay through the channels described in the whistleblowing management procedure (01D-00-22-001).
  • Maintain appropriate and respectful treatment toward all individuals within the organization as well as external entities (contractors, collaborators, clients...).
