Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in materials engineering for the petrochemical, oil, and gas industry..
- Experience in Engineering and Procurement (EP) or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
- Experience with lump-sum project proposals.
- Management skills to negotiate with suppliers or clients in pursuit of win-win agreements.
- Ability to work independently, focused on achieving objectives.
- Ability to work and coordinate within multidisciplinary teams to solve project issues.
Location:
- 100% on-site in Spain.
Principal duties
- Define materials and metallurgy specifications for project equipment and materials.
- Perform thickness calculations and review manufacturing procedures, treatments, and required testing, among others.
- Review supplier procedures and documentation related to material specifications, manufacturing procedures, welding, treatments, tests, and inspections, among others.
