Requirements:
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in industrial projects such as substations, mines, refineries, or complex industrial facilities.
- Expertise in all project phases (conceptual, FEED, and execution), managing technical safety deliverables.
- Extensive knowledge of international regulations, safety studies, and fire protection systems design.
- Expertise in the application of project-specific regulations, including German BSH requirements.
- Knowledge of evacuation and rescue systems on offshore platforms or any construction or operational area.
- Experience in the technical review of third-party documentation and coordination with technical disciplines in EPC projects.
- Proven experience in effective coordination with technical teams in diverse environments.
- English B2+.
Location::
- 100% on-site in Spain.
Principal duties
- Review and update technical documentation, including fire protection system P&IDs, PIPENET calculations, and layout drawings (F&G, escape routes, safety signage).
- Develop specifications, data sheets, and perform technical bid evaluations.
- Carry out specialized studies such as explosion analysis, fire risk evaluations (FERA, EERA), and hazardous area classification.
- Perform risk assessments such as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, FERA/EERA, and dropped object studies.
- Contribute to the development of fire control plans, ATEX designs, and access and evacuation assessments, especially for offshore platforms.
- Supervise the design and operation of ignition detection systems, fire detection systems, and protection systems such as foam, inert gas, and firewater systems.
