Requirements:
- Degree in Associate Degree in Welding and Boilermaking, Advanced Degree in Metallic Structures, Specialized Training in Welding Techniques and Blueprint Reading.
- Desirable: Basic training in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in energy, oil & gas construction projects.
- Proven track record in monitoring construction projects, ensuring HSE compliance, and supervising personnel.
- Experience in advanced blueprint reading for boilermaking.
- Proficient in structural and equipment assembly, industry regulations, standards application, and certifications, with extensive expertise in technical document management and the analysis and resolution of technical issues.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- English +A1/A2.
Location:
- 100% on-site in Cádiz, España.
Principal duties
- "Ensure the successful completion of the production process, utilizing all available means to achieve the monthly targets set for each workshop or area in terms of resources, deadlines, quality, cost, and working methods. Targets and their achievement must be communicated to the assigned personnel, and corrective actions must be proposed if deemed necessary.
- Ensure compliance with the rules and procedures established by the organization—specifically regarding Safety, Quality, and Environment—as well as plant and active site procedures, standards, and work instructions. This includes conducting inspections and training assigned personnel on prevention and quality through regular briefings, either directly or in collaboration with the Safety and Quality departments.
- Keep their direct supervisor informed about the progress of work and any incidents occurring during the shift, regarding the production process itself as well as safety, quality, and disciplinary matters.
- Ability to organize and execute minor rigging and lifting operations.
- Rework defective work in accordance with the resolutions of Non-Conformance and Repair Reports.
