Requirements
- More than 15 years of experience in electrical engineering within EPC/EPCM projects, preferably in the energy, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
- Experience in design of medium and high voltage electrical systems, short-circuit analysis, load flow studies, protection coordination, and grounding systems.
- Experience in technical specifications, procurement processes, coordination with manufacturers, and validation of supplier documentation.
- Knowledge of specialized software: ETAP, SKM Power Tools, AutoCAD Electrical, Dialux, Revit MEP, among others.
- Knowledge of international standards: IEC, IEEE, NEC, ANSI, NFPA, and local project regulations.
- English level B2 or higher.
Location:
- 100% on-site in Spain.
Principal duties
- Lead and organize the electrical engineering team throughout all project phases.
- Establish electrical design criteria based on international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.) and client requirements.
- Supervise the preparation and review of drawings, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and equipment specifications.
- Validate datasheets, material lists, calculation reports, and technical requisitions for electrical equipment.
- Ensure technical consistency across disciplines (instrumentation, mechanical, process, civil, etc.).
- Participate in design reviews (interdisciplinary and client reviews) and follow up on technical comments. Coordinate the technical evaluation of electrical equipment bids, including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and panels.
