Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- More than 5 years of experience in EPC projects within the oil & gas industry.
- Native Mandarin speaker with English proficiency.
- Proficiency in Caesar II and SP3D.
Location:
- 100% on-site in Spain.
Principal duties
- Design, plan, and fully define piping systems, including material selection, pipe diameters, and wall thickness, ensuring strict compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
- Prepare, review, and manage all technical documentation (drawings, isometrics, specifications) using specialized software, and participate in cost estimation, scheduling, and reporting activities.
- Ensure effective integration of piping systems with other engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation), promoting safety and environmental considerations in the overall design.
- Supervise and manage on-site construction and installation activities, ensuring compliance with standards and providing technical support for prompt resolution of field issues during construction and operation.
- Evaluate and mitigate technical risks (pressure, corrosion, vibration) and perform required inspections and functional tests (pressure tests, hydrostatic tests) to verify system integrity and final functionality.
- Perform other duties inherent to the position.
