Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a piping stress analyst in the petrochemical and/or oil & gas industry.
- Leadership experience within the discipline and experience in lump-sum projects.
- Strong understanding of stress analysis concepts and ability to solve critical stress and nozzle load issues.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work within established deadlines, with or without direct supervision.
- Proficiency in CAESAR II and AFT Impulse.
- Knowledge of 3D design tools such as E3D, SmartPlant, PDMS, among others.
- AutoPIPE knowledge is considered an advantage.
- English level B2 or higher.
Location
- 100% on-site in Spain.
Principal duties
- Perform stress analysis of piping systems connected to static and rotating equipment, heat exchangers, furnaces, and other equipment using CAESAR II software.
- Prepare stress analysis isometrics including all necessary data for support definition.
- Apply knowledge of piping supports, including the use of dampers, rigid struts, and spring hangers/supports.
- Review piping stress loads acting on equipment nozzles.
- Calculate and estimate piping loads on pipe racks, structures, and platforms.
