Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field, with additional training in project management, industrial safety, quality, or construction.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction field, preferably in industrial and Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong and proven experience in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) projects, especially in operating regasification plants (mandatory requirement).
- Solid track record in on-site construction project management, supervising multiple disciplines and contractors.
- Proven knowledge in safety, quality, cost control, and project scheduling.
- Experience in managing scope changes and risk administration related to construction execution.
- Demonstrated ability leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with engineering, operations, HSE, and contractors.
- Experience in commissioning and startup of industrial projects.
- International experience or participation in multinational projects.
- English level B2+.
Location:
- 100% on-site in Spain.
Principal duties
- Lead and coordinate all construction activities throughout all project phases. Coordinate and supervise all construction works until mechanical completion and handover to the commissioning team. Provide support to the commissioning team and client during startup.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule requirements. Supervise strict adherence to the company Quality Program. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and global standards.
- Develop and strengthen a safety culture across all project activities. Develop and implement safety and security programs for both internal personnel and contractors. Identify, assess, and manage project execution risks, driving mitigation plans.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and contractors to minimize impact on ongoing operations. Promote and maintain effective communication with clients, local communities, and stakeholders.
- Lead scope change management, ensuring all services and deliverables align with contractual documentation. Establish and maintain proper coordination across functions, departments, and project phases.
- Lead, motivate, and develop assigned personnel, providing continuous training and feedback. Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across all project areas and locations.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to senior management. Analyze issues, anticipate risks, and propose viable and timely solutions. Organize, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks effectively to meet critical deadlines.
